Johnson received her B.F.A. from the University of Mississippi in Imaging Arts. She was awarded Honorable Mention for her experimental short, Flutter in the 11th Annual Oxford Film Festival in 2011. She was named a finalist for the 2014 Clarence John Laughlin award. Her photography and video work has been shown in juried shows in Mississippi, Louisiana, Colorado, Vermont, New York, Oregon, Virginia, Minnesota, Maine, and California. Jaime completed her M.F.A. in Photography at Louisiana Tech University in 2014.
