Delta Perspective: 7 Artists’ view of Our Home

GREENVILLE, Miss–The Greenville Arts Council announces the opening of their second exhibit of the 2012 year in the Roger D. Malkin Gallery. Delta Perspective: 7 Artists’ view of Our Home opens on February 24, 2012 and will remain up until April 13, 2012. The Roger D. Malkin Gallery is open from 10 AM-4 PM Monday through Friday and by appointment on Saturday.

This exhibit showcases seven different artists’ work that has been influenced by the Delta landscape; Kallie Drecher (photographer), Noel Harris (painter), Larry Burchfield (photographer), John Montfort Jones (photographer), Roy Meeks (photographer), Pat Walker (Painter), and Gary Walters (painter).

“Each artist has been inspired by the Delta landscape and they each bring their own unique perspective to their work depending on their chosen medium. We live in a truly beautiful place and this exhibit captures that, “stated MacKenzie Stroh, Executive Director of the Greenville Arts Council.
