Cocktails at the Carousel—Last one of the Summer!
Greenville- The Greenville Arts Council will host its third Cocktails at the Carousel event of the summer on August 9, 2013, from 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM in the Armitage Herschell Carousel Pavilion at the E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center.
The Greenville Arts Council will celebrate I Don’t Have to Be Me (‘til Monday) (based off Greenvillian Steve Azar’s song) by offering cool drinks and hot tunes. Jason Fratesi from the Dirt Road Jam Band will be presenting keeping the mood festival. The Arts Council welcomes the entire community to enjoy an evening at the Carousel. No reservations are needed and you can ride the carousel at no charge. Children are welcome, but must be supervised by an adult.
In celebration of the end of summer the Greenville Arts Council has partnered with Sweet CeCe’s to offer $1 Fro Yo to keep you and your friends cool. Attendees may choose to purchase and enjoy their choice of wine, beer, and sodas. Members of the Greenville Arts Council will receive refreshments for free as a benefit of their membership. The Arts Council will serve $2 margaritas alcoholic– Just another way to keep cool!
Also, the Mighty Mississippi Music Festival will be present! They will be selling tickets to the festival and posters as well as raffling off one FREE Weekend Pass to the Festival (must be present to win) that will take place on October 4-6, 2013 at Warfield Point Park.
“This is going to be the BIGGEST Cocktails at the Carousel yet! There is no better way to cool down at Bass—take a spin on the carousel and have a cool drink and enjoy some Fro Yo! We will see you here on August 9th,” stated MacKenzie Stroh, Executive Director of the Greenville Arts Council.
