The Birmingham Children’s Theatre will perform “Young Abe Lincoln” on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 9:00 & 11:00 pm in E. E. Bass Auditorium in Greenville, Mississippi. The admissions fee is $5 per child with teachers and aids admitted free. From a modest farm in the heartland of Americacame one of our nation’s most memorable leaders, Abraham Lincoln. This critically-acclaimed Off Broadway musical features our 16th President during the awkward, gangly years of his youth. Abe’s got some good ideas and a passion for fairness, but isn’t quite sure what to do with himself. Our audience will find out what inspired Abe to take his talents all the way to Washington, D.C. This main stage Theatre in Motion production runs 55 to 60 minutes with a cast of 5 to 7 actors and is age appropriate for K thru 5th grade. Theatre in Motion is the touring division of Birmingham Children’s Theatre, one of the oldest and largest children’s theatres in the country.
