GREENVILLE, Miss–The Greenville Arts Council announces the opening of the first exhibit of the 2013 year in the Roger D. Malkin Gallery. “My paintings express a passion of visual achievement through images, symbols, compositions and elements stemming from experiences which can be personal, social, political and environmental. This passion, or my desire of artistic creation began at a very early age and has never faded. I paint. My work changes. It evolves.”
The opening reception will be held on January 11, 2013 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM and is free and open to the public. Rick Anderson will also be hosting a Teaching Artist workshop for local school teachers on Saturday, January 12.
