Greenville, MS—The Greenville Arts Council announces the lineup for their annual Holidays at Bass celebration on December 8, 2012. Every year the Greenville Arts Council staff decks the halls of the E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center. This year will be no different and planning has already begun to celebrate the 2012 holidays.
The activities will start in the morning on December 8 with a ceramic ornament workshop facilitated by Richard Dattel. For ages 5 and up; students can make up to 3 ceramic ornaments as well as a ceramic tray. ($10 for 3 ornaments, $5 for tray). The workshop will be offered at two different times 10-11 AM and 11-12 PM. Your spot must be reserved; reservations can be made by calling the Greenville Arts Council office at 662.332.2246.
From 1-3 PM, Judy Long will share her famous Santa Claus Collection, Santa and Mrs. Claus will make a visit, Christmas treats will be had, Christmas crafts created, the Candy Cane Clown will visit, faces will be painted and Jack Jackson’s dancers will grace the stage. The event will also include unlimited rides on the Armitage Hershell Carousel. The event is open to the entire public and is $5 per child. It is an additional $5 if you want your picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
