River to the Rails | Juried Art Competition

For the first time in its eight-year history River to the Rails is partnering with the Museum of the Mississippi Delta to hold a juried art competition for its art vendors. The exhibition for entered pieces will be open to the public at Gallery Point Leflore from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 5.  Cash prizes will be awarded for Best in Show ($500), for the winner in each of 3 categories ($150), and for best booth display ($100).


Starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning, the 200 block of Howard Street in downtown Greenwood, Mississippi will be filled with art vendors selling their original work to festival goers. Vendors for the 2012 River to the Rails Art Fair are:
