MAAE Teaching Artist Workshop
Saturday, February 4, 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m
The .Greenville Arts Council will be hosting the Mississippi Alliance for Arts Education’s one-day workshop to prepare for their professional development requirements to join the Mississippi Arts Commission’s Teaching Artist Roster. Althea Jerome, winner of the 2012 Mississippi Governor’s Award for Arts in Education will lead the session as participants are introduced to essential information to work in a Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade school setting. $35 for MAAE Members; $50 for non-members; $75 Workshop/Membership Special. Reservations are required to attend register online at www.MSArtsAlliance.com.

3rd Annual Grapes in the Gallery
Thursday, February 9, 6:00 p.m., Roger D. Malkin Gallery
The Greenville Arts Council hosts their Annual Winter Wine Tasting in the Roger D. Malkin Gallery. Learn the art of wine tasting. Patrons will discover how to differentiate wines using sight, smell and taste. Space is limited and reservations required.
GAC Members $40, Non GAC Members $45 (Friends of GAC/Business/Patrons of GAC Members free- must still reserve a spot).

Brent Sisters in Concert
Saturday, February 18, 7:00 p.m., Jake and Freda Stein Hall
Spend Mardi Gras at Bass with the Greenville Arts Council! All three Brent Sisters, Jessica, Eden and Bronwynne Brent will be in concert to help us celebrate. Tickets are $10 and drinks will be available for purchase.

Delta Perspectives
Friday, February 24, 5:00-7:00 p.m., Gallery Opening, Roger D. Malkin Gallery
Friday, February 24 – March 23

Last year we traveled around the world; this year we are featuring our home. A variety of local artists will share their mediums and how Delta landscapes have inspired their work. Gallery openings are free events and open to the public. Artwork will be available for purchase.
