Camp started! Wanna come?

There are still openings for Session II!

Good Monday, all!

Camp started bright and early this morning with 20 young campers (We were sold out! How exciting!). Students got to experience the theatre and how to make chalk during visual arts. Tomorrow their day will be filled with dance and music! Want your child to experience the arts this summer? We still have some spots left next week (5-8 year olds). Feel free to call the office at 332-2246 or email Megan at This afternoon older campers (9-12 year olds) will be learning special visual arts skills through painting and drawing and tomorrow will try out ceramics! Have an older camper? We still have spots left for the session next week. Again, just give us a call. The registration form for camp can be found here

Adults and high school students can also still register for Kim Guthrie’s Paper Mache Class—but, I must say spots are limited! CEUs are available for educators. Kim Guthrie, local paper mache artist, will teach paper mache classes for teenagers and adults. Kim’s classes focus on building paper mache forms using simple techniques. These classes will break the rules of traditional paper mache and show the students shortcuts to creating unique forms. The class will provide technical understanding of the medium and provide a basis for creative and expression. Supplies included. $75 for GAC Members, $80 for Non Members. Seating is limited, reserve your spot now by calling 332-2246.

Have a great week and hopefully we will see you at Bass very soon!
