I am pretty excited! What else am I excited about? Morning camp next week is FULL! That is right–20 awesome kids are going to get to experience dance, music, theatre and the visual arts. Still want your student to experience camp–we have another session starting June 20th-24. Both afternoon sessions are still open for the older kids. Register, register, register!
ALSO, we are still taking reservations for Kim Guthrie’s paper mache class for adults and high school students—teachers you can get some CEUs… What a fun way to learn about a great recyclable art form for your classroom. I can see it now–paper mache planets, animals and plants. Art integration in school! SO fun! (Class starts June 27).
Nope, that isn’t all! We are still working on getting the vote out for the Pepsi Refresh Project. We need your help! Please buy those yellow cap Pepsi bottles. They have codes which will help us move up in the ranks. We have to get in the top 10 to receive funds. This will help the arts council set up an instrument collective for local schools. Help, help, help! Vote here!
Whew! How great is it to be in Greenville? We hope to see you this weekend–enjoy the sun and don’t forget the sunscreen!
