Another Exhibit Opening! Featuring local students!

The GAC First Annual Student Invitational will open on April 28, 2011 from5:00-7:30 in the E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center! Refreshments will be served, the event is free to the public.

Come out and see this amazing student event! Show will feature work by students from the following Washington County Schools: Matty Akin Elementary, Julia Armstrong Elementary, Emma Boyd Elementary, Susie Trigg Elementary, Lizzie Coleman Middle School, H.W.Solomon Middle School, Greenville-Weston High School, Riverside Elementary School, Washington School and St. Joseph High School.

GAC First Annual Student Invitational exhibition will open on April 28, 2011 and will run through June 5, 2011, at the E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center in Greenville. This event will showcase the students of our community and provide them the unique opportunity to have their work displayed in a public Cultural Arts Center.

Greenville resident artist, Belinda Bowdre, an accomplished painter that has had her work on display at Meridian Museum of Art, will be the juror for this exhibition. She will select the pieces from the artwork submitted and will identify the awards from the assembled works. Submitted artwork will be judged in four different age categories, including High School, Grades 6-8, Grades 3-5, and Grades K-2.
