The Greenville Arts Council is currently seeking 4 Arts Education Interns for our annual summer camp. This internship will last for 9 weeks; 3 weeks to plan the camp and 6 weeks to host 2 sessions, each of which will last 3 weeks. Summer Camp is geared towards two different age groups: 4-7 year olds and 7+ year old students with interest in visual art, music, theatre arts, and dance. Morning sessions are held with the younger age group, with a day dedicated to each of the 4 subjects that will lead up to a noon performance each Friday. Afternoon sessions are held with the older age group, and will focus on more complex concepts and projects.
The qualified candidate will have meaningful visual art, theater/drama, music or dance experience as well as relevant teaching or summer camp experience. Applicants must be 18 years of age of older and candidates that are seeking/possess a bachelor’s degree are preferred. Applicants must be responsible and have a reliable method of transportation.

- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, however we believe this is an invaluable experience to work in an established non-profit arts organization. For interns interested in relocating for the position, we may be able to assist with housing accommodations for the duration of camp.
