The E.E. Bass school building on Main Street is one of the historical treasures of Greenville and the state of Mississippi. It is a community symbol of our rich arts and educational history and potential, and it is an architecturally significant historical landmark.

The goal of the E.E. Bass Foundation is to save a significant historical structure in our community and to put the building back into use by the whole community, providing space for needed activities and attracting visitors to the Delta. Community arts activities will continue to be the main programs taking place in the newly-restored space, with support from use by local non-profit and economic development groups. The mission of the foundation is to make the E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center the center of community life, and it strives to make Greenville a better city through the arts. The arts bring people together. The full restoration of this Mississippi Landmark will not only create space for the arts and community development, but will revitalize our community as well.
